My very best wishes go out to everyone reading this weblog!

As you are aware from the title of both the website and the Facebook page, I pose an important question to believers of all faiths, denominations, creeds, races, nationalities, and even to non-believers: “What if Jesus was a woman?”

The point of the question is not specifically to question whether Jesus was in fact male or female. Rather I hope to stimulate a conversation focused on what Jesus thought, said and did. And how that message relates to God’s will, purpose and plan for us. From that perspective, if Jesus had been a woman, would we perceive the message of the teachings any differently? If Jesus was a woman and not a man, might that explain God’s word more clearly?

If Jesus had been a woman, would women and younger people today find the message and teachings more useful in their daily lives? Sadly, most of the women and younger people I know today recoil from the very very mention of “Jesus” presuming the conversation is about “Christianity” – an institution about which they are either fearful or mistrusting. If it is even possible to change this perception, it will surely require a certain willingness, open-mindedness and honesty about what we believe and why.

You are of course encouraged go to Amazon.com and search out my book, “The Word 2.0” and read my unique and excellent biography of Jesus. You have surely never read anything like it, regardless how well you believe you know Jesus. You can also tune in here for more information about study guides that provide insight into the book – Jesus’ life and ministry.

Now with respect to God, blessed be God’s holy name, consider the possibility that God is undifferentiated masculine and feminine energy, in perfect balance, neither male nor female and yet both. We can discuss that anytime if you like. Meanwhile, if you will, please take a look at this article about God and our perceptions (you may need to copy and paste it into your browser):
